NEW DELHI: SC re-appoints receivers in connection with SYL canal
case; seeks report by Dec 15 on ground situation in relation to land concerned.
SC makes clear that Receivers will not be taking
possession of the land, meant for Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal.
Union Home Secy, Chief Secy of Punjab govt and DG of
Punjab Police are the Receivers appointed in the case. (agencies)
