Jawan injured on LoC as Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch

JAMMU: An Army jawan today got injured after Pakistan targetted the forward Indian posts on the Line of Control(LoC) in Poonch district.

“Pakistan troops this morning shelled around 5 to 6 Indian posts in Gulpur Sector of Poonch,” official sources here said. They said that own troops retaliated effectively, adding that exchange of fire lasted till 1400 hours.

“An army jawan sustained injury in cross border firing and he has been hospitalised,” they added. (AGENCIES)
