KAS officer, wife killed in Doda car accident

JAMMU :  A KAS officer and his wife were killed when the car they were travelling in plunged into a gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today.
“Senior KAS Officer of 2001 batch, Kalyan Singh, posted as Additional Secretary R&B, died in an accident when his car plunged into a gorge at Khilani in Doda district. His wife also died on the spot,” police sources here said.
The accident occurred when Kalyan was on way to home at Doda to attend his father’s last rites. His father passed away yesterday, the sources added. (AGENCIES)
