SRINAGAR: An amount of Rs 49 lakh has been sanctioned in militancy related cases in the summer capital, Srinagar, an official spokesperson said here today.
He said a meeting of district level Screening-Cum-Coordination Committee (DLSCC) was today held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmed Lone. He said in the meeting an amount of Rs 49,05,000 was sanctioned in favour of militancy related cases.
“Out of 15 cases of militancy related cases, 12 cases were cleared for cash compensation of Rs 4 lakh each and one case was cleared for grant of Ex-gratia relief of Rs 1 lakh. While as Rs 5000 were also sanctioned in favour of an injured,” he added. (AGENCIES)
